Wookey
Oh bugger, not this again.
There that was short and sweet, but I s'pose I ought to say a little more if only to commemorate CUCC's latest ever journal (excluding year's that it didn't get published at all, of course). Note the posh colour cover ...

Here it is - the second edition of the 1992 CUCC Journal - still just about in 1992!
This issue has significantly fewer typos than the first one and should have better final print quality. I hereby commemorate CUCC's latest ever journal (excluding year's that it didn't get published at all, of course). However, in mitigation - I draw your attention to the posh colour cover (photo: Tony Rooke, model: Glen Long) courtesy of the (huge) efforts of Justin Powell and the new RP4 (or somesuch) cheapo colour process. Also the pointless, archaic, and understood-by-no-one VOL number has been abandoned.
Yet again, after the ritual pestering, CUCC comes up with the goods and there are numerous items of interest, including JulianT's annual story, a wrinklie's-eye view of modern caving, the obligatory Austria reports and descriptions, bits about holidays, various technical items on lights, batteries, chargers & flashes, and finally a few pieces that defy easy categorisation.
This Journal has been edited using Wordperfect 5.1, and Windows notepad, then typeset with Impression 2.15, courtesy of Dave Knell, and printed on Aleph One's Laserprinter. Circuits were drawn on OrCad.
[ Web editor's note - the web edition is hitting the superhighway in 1998 and should have even less typos than the second print version (from which it is derived). It was edited into html using !Zap on an Acorn RISC PC.]
