WALDEN BECK CAVE, West Burton, N. Yorks. SD 993.812

26th February, 1977
Diver: J.T. Griffiths.

The cave is a small resurgence just above river level on the north side of the valley. Twenty feet of crawling leads to a sump which was found to be 10 ft. long in a low bedding. Sump 2 followed quickly and was dived for 10 ft. to a tight squeeze. This could not be passed.
