Tinkle Inlet Sump

This is a small inlet sump with an unusable airspace. It is 0.7m long but awkward due to mudbanks. One emerges in a low air space canal with a voice connection to base. The passage continues through another duck into a narrow rift, and 60m on there is a junction, with both passages becoming low.

15th April, 1983
Divers: R.M.Thomas and A.Waddington

Surveyed to junction at 60m and pushed both passages, estimated 60m.
